Thanks, this is a good quality video for beginners.
I still think Pimsleur is one of the best ways to learn. Although I wish there was a video version with all the words and grammar from JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test). I keep thinking about making one, but requires a large number of hours to create.

Tanx for the vid. I learned a lot. I am currently learning Japanese because i’ll be going to Japan next week. that gives me one more week left to study. Anyway, based on what I learned from the vid, japanese do not pronounce the letter “u”. for ex. “desu” instead of saying “d-e-s-u” they say “des”. and they also pronounce ‘i’ as ‘y’ if it is placed before a vowel. am I right?
